Windy City Live

Since being laid off, I am stuck with the task of watching daytime television.  You know it is a ritual to sit on the couch and watch shows that utter phrases like "YOU ARE THE FATHER" and (fill in the blanks with whatever name you would like) ______________, took a lie detector test, and so on.  One show I am enjoying is Windy City Live.  It features Valerie Warner and Ryan Chiaverini.  The show took the spot of Oprah's show when she retired.  I think it has the makings of being really big.

How many of you tried to get tickets on the Oprah show when it was on?  I know I did for about 7 years.  Well, I decided yesterday that I was going to get some tickets on the Windy City Live show.  Already, the shows are all booked for December.  I am going to be on my toes for the January, 2012 shows.  I think it is best from experience to take advantage of something before it reaches the masses.  Who would of thought as a 10 year old kid that Oprah would be as big as she is today.  Oprah started out on a show similar to Windy City live before it was named for her.  If history repeats its self, I think Windy City Live is well on its way.

Is Blogging Dead?

Hello To All. I have been missing in action from this blog since 2015.  I am the type of person that gets bored with things quite quickly.  I have a question for you today.  Is blogging dead?  There are millions of blogs out there covering everything from fashion, food, homes, wine, and etc.  With the fashion piece, Instagram has taken over the need to post a  blog about what a person is wearing and what the audience should buy. However, is it quite necessary to share with the world everything that a person does in their life. I am signing off with this open ended question; should you leave things to the  imagination?  Ponder on that question; will you. Until next time, many, many, many, blessings!

Happy New Years 2015!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

. Blessings to All,  It has been a long time coming for this post. The last time I blogged was back in May 2014.  Fast forward to January 1, 2015.  I am very happy to see another year.  I am so glad that 2014 is in the past.  Today is a time to look forward to new opportunities.  On my agenda this year is to get better and wiser.  I am on the path of eliminating baggage out of my life. I am very much interested in the minimalist movement.  A minimalist voluntarily simplifies their life.  It can include buying less things, reducing consumption, working less, and even eliminating toxic things from your life.  I always admired the Japanese culture.  They practice minimalism; however some may argue that is due ...

Dooney and Bourke Florentine Smith Bag in Royal Blue

Good Morning All, I have been enjoying this nice Chicago weather we have.  It has been around 70-80 degrees for almost two weeks now.  It is kind of creepy.  I went to Culver's yesterday to get one of my favorite treats, a three scoop lemon Ice and while in the drive through I see a big bumblebee.  Spring is definitely in the air.  I am waiting for the ball to drop.  Will we be getting 6 inches of snow in May?  Anyways, I got a new bag.  Well, I exchanged a bag that I had bought about two months ago for this bag.  It is the Dooney and Bourke Florentine Smith Bag in Royal Blue.  I had purchased this bag in white/tan for the spring and had a change of heart.  I like white bags; however, they don't wear well.  Eventually they will get some kind of color transfer from denim or they will yellow overtime. I have a Chloe and Marc Jacobs bag that did that.  Well, the bag in my opinion is not royal blue in person.  It is ...
