Hello All, October is here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  This is my favorite time of the year.  The crisp air.  The changing of the colors, and of course my birthday.  My birthday is coming up in about 2 1/2 weeks and it is a special one.  I will be turning the big 4-0 .  Most people have qualms about getting older and I am one of those people.  However, I look at getting older as a blessing.  Hopefully you have learned the lessons and you are able to move on.  I look back on my life and there are some things that I could have done differently; or I lament over not being where I want to be .  As I really look beyond that, I am exactly where I need to be at the moment.  I am a work in progress.  Society pressures us on what makes us successful.  Success is measured on who you know, what you know, what you have, and where you live.  I am reading a book called The 7 Laws of Success by Herbert W. Armstrong.  What I have read thus far; true success is not measured by those things.  Many perceived s
