Good Afternoon, As I mentioned on earlier posts, I am kind of random. I may sometimes write about anything that first comes to my mind. Sometimes, it may take me days to ponder on some of things I want to get out of my system.  Well, today I am just random... meaning I am going to let the Spirit lead me. Today was a rather nice day. I went to church and received a good message that I want to parlay on to my followers out there. However, I want to share with you an experience I had at lunch today. After church, the family and I went to a restaurant called Coopers Hawk. They are known in the Chicagoland area for their great wine. I love their wine so much that I joined their wine club. Being a part of the wine club entitles you to a free entree for your birthday. My husband and I each received a mailer for an entree. This was great considering funds are low and I didn't feel like cooking The only person that I had to buy lunch for was my daughter. Well, I was excited about havin

Free At Last Free At Last: Comfortable Shoes

Naot Cymbal Good Morning Everyone, I hope all is well.   I had a rather interesting week.   I discovered that when working in retail, no matter what shoes you wear; they will hurt your feet after about 3 hours of standing and walking.   I have tried brands such as Tory Burch ballet flats, Prada calf-hair leopard oxfords, Dr. Marten’s oxfords, and even my cute Manolo Blahnik peep-toe flat sling backs which caused cuts on both of my big toes. I have been on the quest for comfortable stylish shoes to provide support to my flat feet and add flair to any outfit.   There are several brands that meet those descriptions:   Naot, Helle Comfort, Joseph Seibel, and Cordani.   These are the most comfortable shoes ever and they are made in Israel, Spain, Germany, and Spain respectively.   They are moderately priced ranging from $130-$550.00; however you can find great deals at Zappos and 6PM.   I wore the pair by Helle Comfort yesterday and received a lot of compliments

Why Do People Wear Their Clothes Too Big?

I hope all is well.   I have been really busy lately trying to figure out what I am going to do with myself.    What I mean career wise.   I currently style women for a living at Ann Taylor but my background is really broad.   Have you ever wondered as an adult what you wanted to be when you grow up?   I wonder that all the time being that I am in my late 30s. One thing that I do enjoy is helping others be the best possible self they possibly can be. I have been pondering why women buy clothes too big here in America?   Working in the industry and helping women find clothing for their lives; they often buy clothes two sizes too big.   Some are afraid to show off or accentuate the body that they have and others are trying to hide the lumps (so humorously called by one of my clients). I was reading an article about how Europeans like closer fitting or tailored clothes.   Europeans don’t anticipate on gaining any weight.   Gaining weight is not an option in Europe and especially when
