One of my favorite television shows which aren't very many happens to be Fashion Hunters on Bravo.  The show entails a thrift store based out of New York named Second Time Around. The shopkeepers raid the closets of New York socialites to sell designer duds at thrift store prices.  The thrift store prices are not what you are use to when shopping at flea markets or Salvation Army, but they put designer duds in the reach of the masses who don't have the million dollar paychecks.  Well, on the season finale so comically named "Crazy for Coco Cuffs", showed a potential co-signer trying to authenticate a cuff bracelet allegedly owned and worn by Coco Chanel herself.  As the show came to a close, it was discovered that it wasn't.  However, I loved the cuff regardless of rather Coco Chanel herself had worn it or not.  I own over a dozen of cuff bracelets.  They are the quintessential jewelry accessory.  My favorites are by Scott Kay and Lois Hill.  I like those designers because of the weight.  The weight is not flimsy.  They will last a lifetime.  Also, I have collected cuffs made out of Japanese china. Cuff Bracelets can add a pop to an all black outfit which was my uniform at the office.

Dooney and Bourke Florentine Smith Bag in Royal Blue

Good Morning All, I have been enjoying this nice Chicago weather we have.  It has been around 70-80 degrees for almost two weeks now.  It is kind of creepy.  I went to Culver's yesterday to get one of my favorite treats, a three scoop lemon Ice and while in the drive through I see a big bumblebee.  Spring is definitely in the air.  I am waiting for the ball to drop.  Will we be getting 6 inches of snow in May?  Anyways, I got a new bag.  Well, I exchanged a bag that I had bought about two months ago for this bag.  It is the Dooney and Bourke Florentine Smith Bag in Royal Blue.  I had purchased this bag in white/tan for the spring and had a change of heart.  I like white bags; however, they don't wear well.  Eventually they will get some kind of color transfer from denim or they will yellow overtime. I have a Chloe and Marc Jacobs bag that did that.  Well, the bag in my opinion is not royal blue in person.  It is ...

Is Blogging Dead?

Hello To All. I have been missing in action from this blog since 2015.  I am the type of person that gets bored with things quite quickly.  I have a question for you today.  Is blogging dead?  There are millions of blogs out there covering everything from fashion, food, homes, wine, and etc.  With the fashion piece, Instagram has taken over the need to post a  blog about what a person is wearing and what the audience should buy. However, is it quite necessary to share with the world everything that a person does in their life. I am signing off with this open ended question; should you leave things to the  imagination?  Ponder on that question; will you. Until next time, many, many, many, blessings!

Louis Vuitton Dog Advertisement

Louis Vuitton Montreal, Canada  July, 2009 I know this is random; however after looking at numerous publications such as Vogue over the past two months, I couldn't help but to love their new advertisement campaign featuring the Japanese Chins.  I lived in Japan for about 4 1/2 years and I fell in love with Japanese Chins.  I loved them so much that I purchased a cute little male Japanese Chin from a non-for-profit organization in Lake County (Chicago, Illinois).  I was tickled to see how my love for Louis Vuitton and Japanese Chins were brought to life
