Blessings To All, I am finally getting my groove back when it comes to blogging.  This Sunday my hubby put his cooking skills to use with some dry rub hot wings.  They were delicious.  Anyways, I went to Target to check out the FEED for Target line.  I found out about the line while browsing through a magazine at my hair salon.  The advertisement caught my eye because of the denim vest being shown.  You know I collect denim shirts and vests.  Also, I always love the FEED line because of its RED campaign a few years back. FEED was started by Lauren Bush Lauren who is a model and activist who happens to be the niece of George W. Bush and daughter-in-law of Ralph Lauren.  Proceeds from FEED for Target with every purchase will provide meals to children and families across America. Blessings, I hope everyone is enjoying the weather.  The weather here in Chicago has been iffy.  We are experiencing weather that is normal for the month of April.  I can't complain because at least we are getting rain instead of the drought of 2012.  Also, many blessings to those that have experienced tornadoes and flooding. With warmer weather brings the love hate relationship with flip flops.  In my weekly team meeting yesterday, the Director was going over the dress code (fashion seems to be a little laxed in warmer months) for the summer.  One of the things that he mentioned that struck a cord was no flip flops.  There has been a lot of debate about the health reasons against flip flops causing arch and leg pain; foot viruses in the locker room/shower room; and fractures from missteps or weather.  In the workplace, flip-flops are prohibited in some instances and are considered very casual wear in addition to sweats and shorts. Blessings To Everyone, It has been two months since I last blogged.  I have been extremely busy with work.  I was working on a dress for success event with both my employers that includes Ann Taylor.  We created an initiative to teach graduates how to dress for interviews and what to wear for work.  At my primary job, we have to create initiatives along with my current job duties. The event was a success. One of the student models was offered a job at the new Loft flagship in Chicago. I also have been contemplating which way I would like this blog to go.  The blog started out as a self help for me and to inspire others as well. I want to focus on inspiring others. In the past two months I have been out of town to Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York.  Going to New York was one of the things I wanted to do before I leave this world.  I would say that it is part of my bucket list.  I enjoyed myself.  You know I love all thing...

Good Evening To All, Those of you that follow my blog are probably wondering where have I been.  Busy for sure.  Last month I became an Aunt again.  I've been helping my sister because she is a first time mom.  We welcomed little girl Marley to our already female dominated clan.  She is a little darling.  I also have a case of the winter blues.  The winter always bring about change into a new year where you have to die so you can be re-birthed into something new, fresh, and exciting.  The winter can also bring on the comfort foods that I enjoy but my things and butt hate.  I love New England Clam Chowder and my favorite lemon ice from Culvers.  Today, I purged my purse collection because every year I go though a purging process. Last year it was my weight and this year it is my finances.
