Finding Your Passion

Blessings To All,

I have been on a little hiatus from blogging.  I lost my way and I have been is some kind of funk.  Lately I have been pondering on the idea of where I would like to take this blog or to continue at all.  I must admit I get bored with things all the time and I can bet on  its cause of not being content.  In regards to finding passion in what I do, I am exploring ideas on where I can generate revenue and love what I do.  I am in a bit of a crossroad with my career; juggling two jobs; one in education and one in fashion.  I am passionate about style and making people look their best; however, I sometimes hate going to work at my job in fashion.  I come to work and feel like I am going through the motions. I don't feel motivated whatsoever; and the people around me are not helping.  Don't get me wrong, I am not the person that feels she needs to be motivated by others to do a job well done; however it does help to have serious, passionate, and genuine people who are in charge of your professional development. It is like an ode to passion.  You fall in love with something and you find yourself hating the very thing that you were initially passionate about.

I am going to leave you with something that I heard off of a television show today:  In order to be rich (monetarily), you have to find something that you feel passionate about and make it happen.  I am on that journey as we speak.

Many, Many, Many, Blessings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dooney and Bourke Florentine Smith Bag in Royal Blue

Good Morning All, I have been enjoying this nice Chicago weather we have.  It has been around 70-80 degrees for almost two weeks now.  It is kind of creepy.  I went to Culver's yesterday to get one of my favorite treats, a three scoop lemon Ice and while in the drive through I see a big bumblebee.  Spring is definitely in the air.  I am waiting for the ball to drop.  Will we be getting 6 inches of snow in May?  Anyways, I got a new bag.  Well, I exchanged a bag that I had bought about two months ago for this bag.  It is the Dooney and Bourke Florentine Smith Bag in Royal Blue.  I had purchased this bag in white/tan for the spring and had a change of heart.  I like white bags; however, they don't wear well.  Eventually they will get some kind of color transfer from denim or they will yellow overtime. I have a Chloe and Marc Jacobs bag that did that.  Well, the bag in my opinion is not royal blue in person.  It is ...

Good Evening All, I have been busy, busy, busy.  Trying to get acclimated to my new routine.  I went to my job today to get my carrot juice I left over the weekend and I left with the task of passing out Friends and Family fliers to people that I know.  Ann Taylor is having their Friends and Family sale beginning on August 2, 2012 through August 5, 2012.  This is the perfect time to save 30% off of your entire purchase.  Ladies, this is the time to stock up on your tropical wool suiting.  Down below I am wearing one of the skirts from the Fall collection. Don't mind the blurred picture.  I still don't know how to operate a camera properly.  I love the nautical themed skirt.  If you are an Ann Taylor card member, you can enjoy a special preview shopping day Wednesday, August 1st.  Also, I am including a promo code to be used online, FRIENDS1 at checkout. Is Blogging Dead?

Hello To All. I have been missing in action from this blog since 2015.  I am the type of person that gets bored with things quite quickly.  I have a question for you today.  Is blogging dead?  There are millions of blogs out there covering everything from fashion, food, homes, wine, and etc.  With the fashion piece, Instagram has taken over the need to post a  blog about what a person is wearing and what the audience should buy. However, is it quite necessary to share with the world everything that a person does in their life. I am signing off with this open ended question; should you leave things to the  imagination?  Ponder on that question; will you. Until next time, many, many, many, blessings!
