Finding Your Passion

Blessings To All,

I have been on a little hiatus from blogging.  I lost my way and I have been is some kind of funk.  Lately I have been pondering on the idea of where I would like to take this blog or to continue at all.  I must admit I get bored with things all the time and I can bet on  its cause of not being content.  In regards to finding passion in what I do, I am exploring ideas on where I can generate revenue and love what I do.  I am in a bit of a crossroad with my career; juggling two jobs; one in education and one in fashion.  I am passionate about style and making people look their best; however, I sometimes hate going to work at my job in fashion.  I come to work and feel like I am going through the motions. I don't feel motivated whatsoever; and the people around me are not helping.  Don't get me wrong, I am not the person that feels she needs to be motivated by others to do a job well done; however it does help to have serious, passionate, and genuine people who are in charge of your professional development. It is like an ode to passion.  You fall in love with something and you find yourself hating the very thing that you were initially passionate about.

I am going to leave you with something that I heard off of a television show today:  In order to be rich (monetarily), you have to find something that you feel passionate about and make it happen.  I am on that journey as we speak.

Is Blogging Dead?

Hello To All. I have been missing in action from this blog since 2015.  I am the type of person that gets bored with things quite quickly.  I have a question for you today.  Is blogging dead?  There are millions of blogs out there covering everything from fashion, food, homes, wine, and etc.  With the fashion piece, Instagram has taken over the need to post a  blog about what a person is wearing and what the audience should buy. However, is it quite necessary to share with the world everything that a person does in their life. The last time I blogged was back in May 2014.  Fast forward to January 1, 2015.  I am very happy to see another year.  I am so glad that 2014 is in the past.  Today is a time to look forward to new opportunities.  On my agenda this year is to get better and wiser.  I am on the path of eliminating baggage out of my life. Dooney and Bourke Leather Janine Satchel

Good Evening All, This week has been rather hectic.  Dealing with family issues and job interviews at the same time.  All is good and the Creator is in charge.  I had purchased a Dooney and Bourke bag about two months ago to store my keys, ipod and identification when I workout at the gym. The bag wasn't a great choice and I end up exchanging the bag for a Dooney and Bourke Leather Janine Satchel in gray. At first I didn't really like the Janine Satchel because of the size.  I love big bags; however since I have lost over 20 pounds, big bags are starting to overwhelm my stature.  I wanted a gray bag because I wear a lot of gray outfits and have been unable to find the perfect gray bag.  There are many different shades of gray that tend to be a little taupe or have a bluish undertone.  This bag is more on the heather gray side with the beige vachetta accent.
