Bordeaux, Bordeaux, Bordeaux

Greetings Everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I took a week off to gather my thoughts and post something meaningful.  As I mentioned, I am random.  However, I don't like to post anything just for the sake of posting things.  I have Fall on the brains.  It seems like it has been Summer forever.  You know in Chicago, Winter is coming.  I am wanting it now more than anything because of my allergies and for the fact it has been hot for too long.  Bordeaux has been on the brains.  Bordeaux is defined as the the port city in southwestern France which is known for its wine of the same name.  Bordeaux to me at this time is the color that is attributed to the wine.  For Fall 2012, bordeaux is the color. There are other colors that belong to the bordeaux family known as wine, oxblood, or claret to name a few. Above are some of my finds to celebrate the oncoming season.  I love reds normally and have yet to love, love the darker reds until recently.  The floor sets in Ann Taylor remind me of the transition from Summer to Fall.  I hope you enjoy my selections along with a warm glass of claret or bordeaux.

Many, many, many blessings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy New Years 2015!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

. Blessings to All,  It has been a long time coming for this post. The last time I blogged was back in May 2014.  Fast forward to January 1, 2015.  I am very happy to see another year.  I am so glad that 2014 is in the past.  Today is a time to look forward to new opportunities.  On my agenda this year is to get better and wiser.  I am on the path of eliminating baggage out of my life. I am very much interested in the minimalist movement.  A minimalist voluntarily simplifies their life.  It can include buying less things, reducing consumption, working less, and even eliminating toxic things from your life.  I always admired the Japanese culture.  They practice minimalism; however some may argue that is due ...

Is Blogging Dead?

Hello To All. I have been missing in action from this blog since 2015.  I am the type of person that gets bored with things quite quickly.  I have a question for you today.  Is blogging dead?  There are millions of blogs out there covering everything from fashion, food, homes, wine, and etc.  With the fashion piece, Instagram has taken over the need to post a  blog about what a person is wearing and what the audience should buy. However, is it quite necessary to share with the world everything that a person does in their life. I am signing off with this open ended question; should you leave things to the  imagination?  Ponder on that question; will you. Until next time, many, many, many, blessings!

Dooney and Bourke Leather Janine Satchel

Good Evening All, This week has been rather hectic.  Dealing with family issues and job interviews at the same time.  All is good and the Creator is in charge.  I had purchased a Dooney and Bourke bag about two months ago to store my keys, ipod and identification when I workout at the gym. The bag wasn't a great choice and I end up exchanging the bag for a Dooney and Bourke Leather Janine Satchel in gray. At first I didn't really like the Janine Satchel because of the size.  I love big bags; however since I have lost over 20 pounds, big bags are starting to overwhelm my stature.  I wanted a gray bag because I wear a lot of gray outfits and have been unable to find the perfect gray bag.  There are many different shades of gray that tend to be a little taupe or have a bluish undertone.  This bag is more on the heather gray side with the beige vachetta accent. It is the perfect bag for the warmer months.  The leather reminds me of the Prada S...
