Too Busy..... That is a good thing.

Good Afternoon All,

I feel like such a slacker. I have been like really busy between my primary job and my gig at Ann Taylor. I really like the feeling of being pre-occupied (dreaming of the things I am going to buy at Ann Taylor) and occupied with life. I am happy that I am employed after months of being unemployed. I am also grateful that I am helping people achieve their goals of going back to school and picking out their first wardrobe for a new job opportunity such as being a stockbroker. It is a chapter of new beginnings. The funny thing yesterday was I left my primary job to check out the new stock at Ann Taylor. I didn't leave till about 10PM; mind you the store closes at 8PM. I should of just clocked in and worked. Thank God my colleagues were working until 12AM. Here is a list of my picks from Ann Taylor.

I am going to leave you with something to ponder: when getting to know people; you need to know your audience. Some things you don't discuss with everybody. Remember there are people out there that wish you harm or want to put out your shine. When they are not doing something; they expect others to do the same: nothing.

Dooney and Bourke Leather Janine Satchel

Good Evening All, This week has been rather hectic. Dealing with family issues and job interviews at the same time. All is good and the Creator is in charge. I had purchased a Dooney and Bourke bag about two months ago to store my keys, ipod and identification when I workout at the gym. The bag wasn't a great choice and I end up exchanging the bag for a Dooney and Bourke Leather Janine Satchel in gray. At first I didn't really like the Janine Satchel because of the size. I love big bags; however since I have lost over 20 pounds, big bags are starting to overwhelm my stature. I wanted a gray bag because I wear a lot of gray outfits and have been unable to find the perfect gray bag. There are many different shades of gray that tend to be a little taupe or have a bluish undertone. This bag is more on the heather gray side with the beige vachetta accent. I Am Back

Blessings To Everyone, It has been two months since I last blogged. I have been extremely busy with work. I was working on a dress for success event with both my employers that includes Ann Taylor. We created an initiative to teach graduates how to dress for interviews and what to wear for work. At my primary job, we have to create initiatives along with my current job duties. The event was a success. One of the student models was offered a job at the new Loft flagship in Chicago. I also have been contemplating which way I would like this blog to go. The blog started out as a self help for me and to inspire others as well. I want to focus on inspiring others. In the past two months I have been out of town to Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York. Going to New York was one of the things I wanted to do before I leave this world. Happy 4th of July

H A P P Y 4 T H O F J U L Y ! ! ! ! ! ! ! I would like to take this opportunity to say Happy 4th of July to all. I am taking it easy today. My hubby barbecued some jerk chicken breast that have been marinating over night, some beef hot dogs, some lamb burgers, hamburgers, jerk shrimp, and some chicken quarters. I did a healthy alternative to my famous macaroni and cheese ( wheat rotini noodles). We are keeping it light. My sister is coming over and we are just going to watch some movies and relax.
