Sorry for the Slacking

Good Evening All,

Sorry for the slacking.  I haven't really had anything to blog about or let me be honest:  I have a lot to blog about but don't know how to put it into words.  I am trying to get adjusted to my two new jobs.  I am having a ball.  I especially love the fact that I am around people.  Being off for four months was kind of depressing; not being able to interact with people very often.

I last told you about my recent weight lost.  I am down to wear (pun intended) I want to be and besides my family and people that know me advised me not to lose any more weight.  I like the way my clothes fit. They fall like a hanger.  I was able to buy my first suit post weight loss from my second job.  I found a really nice all tropical wool suit.  Of course I had to have the sleeves and pants taken up because of my short arms and legs.  I had to buy a whole new wardrobe.  I tried to sell some of my clothes to Clothes Mentor and the ones that they didn't want are being picked up by the Purple Hearts.  Thank the Creator that I get a 50% discount at my second job to help me with my new wardrobe choices.

In between working, working out, and buying a new wardrobe, I was able to keep abreast of the new handbags coming out from Louis Vuitton.  They have a new Petit Noe bag coming out in a rainbow of Epi colors in late fall.  I am on the call list for a multi color one.  That will give me enough time to save up.  Since I am foregoing a Mother's Day present, I am going to do it big for the big 3-9.  Here are some various pictures of my future bag.

What do you think?

Blessings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dooney and Bourke Leather Janine Satchel

Good Evening All, This week has been rather hectic.  Dealing with family issues and job interviews at the same time.  All is good and the Creator is in charge.  I had purchased a Dooney and Bourke bag about two months ago to store my keys, ipod and identification when I workout at the gym. The bag wasn't a great choice and I end up exchanging the bag for a Dooney and Bourke Leather Janine Satchel in gray. At first I didn't really like the Janine Satchel because of the size.  I love big bags; however since I have lost over 20 pounds, big bags are starting to overwhelm my stature.  I wanted a gray bag because I wear a lot of gray outfits and have been unable to find the perfect gray bag.  There are many different shades of gray that tend to be a little taupe or have a bluish undertone.  This bag is more on the heather gray side with the beige vachetta accent. It is the perfect bag for the warmer months.  The leather reminds me of the Prada S...

Dooney and Bourke Florentine Smith Bag in Royal Blue

Good Morning All, I have been enjoying this nice Chicago weather we have.  It has been around 70-80 degrees for almost two weeks now.  It is kind of creepy.  I went to Culver's yesterday to get one of my favorite treats, a three scoop lemon Ice and while in the drive through I see a big bumblebee.  Spring is definitely in the air.  I am waiting for the ball to drop.  Will we be getting 6 inches of snow in May?  Anyways, I got a new bag.  Well, I exchanged a bag that I had bought about two months ago for this bag.  It is the Dooney and Bourke Florentine Smith Bag in Royal Blue.  I had purchased this bag in white/tan for the spring and had a change of heart.  I like white bags; however, they don't wear well.  Eventually they will get some kind of color transfer from denim or they will yellow overtime. I have a Chloe and Marc Jacobs bag that did that.  Well, the bag in my opinion is not royal blue in person.  It is ...

Happy New Years 2015!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

. Blessings to All,  It has been a long time coming for this post. The last time I blogged was back in May 2014.  Fast forward to January 1, 2015.  I am very happy to see another year.  I am so glad that 2014 is in the past.  Today is a time to look forward to new opportunities.  On my agenda this year is to get better and wiser.  I am on the path of eliminating baggage out of my life. I am very much interested in the minimalist movement.  A minimalist voluntarily simplifies their life.  It can include buying less things, reducing consumption, working less, and even eliminating toxic things from your life.  I always admired the Japanese culture.  They practice minimalism; however some may argue that is due ...
