Good Morning All,
This week has been rather interesting. I have been really busy. I start my two new jobs this week. My main full-time job, I start tomorrow. I have also accepted a position at Ann Taylor on the weekends. About 5 years ago, I worked at Ann Taylor Loft part-time. I need the extra income since I have been out of work for almost 5 months. I have a daughter that will be going away to college in two years and the hubby and I maybe moving back into the city... Lord willing. Well, this week I unpacked my summer clothes to go through them. To my amazement and dismay, none of my clothes fit properly. I have lost 30 pounds in 3 months. The weight just started dropping when I took up running. I now run about 5 hours a week and 3 hours a week on the elliptical machine. I also weigh train about 4 hours a week. My body has definitely changed. I have the V shape going on. However, I have lost weight in places that I didn't want to lose like my breast and glutenous maxi mus. This is to my husband's dismay and my body as well. I have discovered a long time ago, that I am naturally curvy with a lot of muscle mass. I have an hourglass figure and I don't look right small. My head looks enormous. Well to celebrate the fact that I need to go shopping to buy clothes for my new body and job; I ordered two pairs of jeans from Ann Taylor Loft in a size 8. I gave away all of my size 10 jeans because they were too big. I received the jeans in the mail and tried them on...... they were too big. So, off to the post office they went and I ordered a size 6 in the two pairs of jeans. I hope these fit.
Members that attend the same gym as me told me I don't need to lose anymore weight. I am stuck in a dilemma because I love to run now. I purchased two pairs of running shoes by Puma and Mizuno that I absolutely love. The running is not only helping me lose weight but I am losing muscle mass as well. When I went on this weight loss journey, I wanted to lose body fat and keep and gain muscle. I want that lean and cut appearance. I was told by a trainer to cut down on the running. I am afraid because I don't want to gain weight. Any suggestions?
Many, Many Blessings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
