Two Week Threshold of the New Year

Good Morning All,

I hope all is well.  Well, today is the two week mark of the new year.  It is also the first day after my 14 day cleanse.  I am having my first cup of java as I type.  I went back and forth on whether or not should I have this coffee because I went two weeks without it so far.  I must admit that the first 6 days of not having coffee left me with headaches so bad that I had to pop aspirin.  My husband convinced me that I should go ahead and have a cup of coffee which I am doing.  Another milestone that I have reached was two weeks without shopping.  Yes, it has been tough.  When I can't buy anything, I see all of these things that catch my eye such as a red pair of Jimmy Choo Amina Patent Leather Peep-Toe Mary Jane Pumps.  I love red and shiny things.  Red is my favorite color.  I love Jimmy Choos because it is my Christian Louboutin alternative.  They are very comfortable.  As I mentioned before, I have tried Christian Louboutins on four occasions, and I just couldn't wear those shoes.  I think in order for me to wear a pair of Christian Louboutins, I will need Christian Louboutin himself to take a mold of my feet and keep it in his Paris factory.  The shoes are beautiful, however they are not for everyone.  I think that true style is finding what you feel comfortable with and sticking with it.  I am going on a tangent here.  Well the Jimmy Choo Amina Patenet Leather Peep-Toe Mary Jane can be purchased at http://www.saksfifthavenue.com/main/ProductDetail.jsp?FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=2534374306418049&PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524446412392&R=448831293886&P_name=Jimmy+Choo&N=306418049+4294912277+306574139&bmUID=jjvMszc

Is Blogging Dead?

Hello To All. I have been missing in action from this blog since 2015.  I am the type of person that gets bored with things quite quickly.  I have a question for you today.  Is blogging dead?  There are millions of blogs out there covering everything from fashion, food, homes, wine, and etc.  With the fashion piece, Instagram has taken over the need to post a  blog about what a person is wearing and what the audience should buy. However, is it quite necessary to share with the world everything that a person does in their life. I am signing off with this open ended question; should you leave things to the  imagination?  Ponder on that question; will you. Until next time, many, many, many, blessings!

Happy New Years 2015!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

. Blessings to All,  It has been a long time coming for this post. The last time I blogged was back in May 2014.  Fast forward to January 1, 2015.  I am very happy to see another year.  I am so glad that 2014 is in the past.  Today is a time to look forward to new opportunities.  On my agenda this year is to get better and wiser.  I am on the path of eliminating baggage out of my life. I am very much interested in the minimalist movement.  A minimalist voluntarily simplifies their life.  It can include buying less things, reducing consumption, working less, and even eliminating toxic things from your life.  I always admired the Japanese culture.  They practice minimalism; however some may argue that is due ...

Dooney and Bourke Florentine Smith Bag in Royal Blue

Good Morning All, I have been enjoying this nice Chicago weather we have.  It has been around 70-80 degrees for almost two weeks now.  It is kind of creepy.  I went to Culver's yesterday to get one of my favorite treats, a three scoop lemon Ice and while in the drive through I see a big bumblebee.  Spring is definitely in the air.  I am waiting for the ball to drop.  Will we be getting 6 inches of snow in May?  Anyways, I got a new bag.  Well, I exchanged a bag that I had bought about two months ago for this bag.  It is the Dooney and Bourke Florentine Smith Bag in Royal Blue.  I had purchased this bag in white/tan for the spring and had a change of heart.  I like white bags; however, they don't wear well.  Eventually they will get some kind of color transfer from denim or they will yellow overtime. I have a Chloe and Marc Jacobs bag that did that.  Well, the bag in my opinion is not royal blue in person.  It is ...
