Two Week Threshold of the New Year

Good Morning All,

I hope all is well. Well, today is the two week mark of the new year. It is also the first day after my 14 day cleanse. I am having my first cup of java as I type. I went back and forth on whether or not should I have this coffee because I went two weeks without it so far. I must admit that the first 6 days of not having coffee left me with headaches so bad that I had to pop aspirin. My husband convinced me that I should go ahead and have a cup of coffee which I am doing. Another milestone that I have reached was two weeks without shopping. Yes, it has been tough. When I can't buy anything, I see all of these things that catch my eye such as a red pair of Jimmy Choo Amina Patent Leather Peep-Toe Mary Jane Pumps. I love red and shiny things. Red is my favorite color. I love Jimmy Choos because it is my Christian Louboutin alternative. They are very comfortable. As I mentioned before, I have tried Christian Louboutins on four occasions, and I just couldn't wear those shoes. I think in order for me to wear a pair of Christian Louboutins, I will need Christian Louboutin himself to take a mold of my feet and keep it in his Paris factory. The shoes are beautiful, however they are not for everyone. I think that true style is finding what you feel comfortable with and sticking with it. I am going on a tangent here. Dooney and Bourke Leather Janine Satchel

Good Evening All, This week has been rather hectic. Dealing with family issues and job interviews at the same time. All is good and the Creator is in charge. I had purchased a Dooney and Bourke bag about two months ago to store my keys, ipod and identification when I workout at the gym. I love big bags; however since I have lost over 20 pounds, big bags are starting to overwhelm my stature. I Am Back

Blessings To Everyone, It has been two months since I last blogged. I have been extremely busy with work. I was working on a dress for success event with both my employers that includes Ann Taylor. We created an initiative to teach graduates how to dress for interviews and what to wear for work. At my primary job, we have to create initiatives along with my current job duties. The event was a success. One of the student models was offered a job at the new Loft flagship in Chicago. I also have been contemplating which way I would like this blog to go. The blog started out as a self help for me and to inspire others as well. I want to focus on inspiring others. In the past two months I have been out of town to Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York. Going to New York was one of the things I wanted to do before I leave this world. Happy 4th of July

H A P P Y 4 T H O F J U L Y ! ! ! ! ! ! ! I would like to take this opportunity to say Happy 4th of July to all. I am taking it easy today. My hubby barbecued some jerk chicken breast that have been marinating over night, some beef hot dogs, some lamb burgers, hamburgers, jerk shrimp, and some chicken quarters. I did a healthy alternative to my famous macaroni and cheese ( wheat rotini noodles). We are keeping it light. My sister is coming over and we are just going to watch some movies and relax.
