Dealing with job loss.

I lost my job a week ago today.  The door was opened for me almost four years ago and then it was closed.  From that moment, I had lost most of my passion for getting on with my life until my desire to write a blog was imagined.  I always wanted to start my own blog, but I didn't know how to get started.  Ideas began to play around in my head.  I didn't want to be just a blog that talked about travel or fashion, but something more.  Not to take away anything from the fashion and travel blogs out there; I quite enjoy them.  My explanation was to follow my calling. The Creator has given us all gifts. There is not a one size fits all.  I think there is a place for everyone who has a dream.  Individuality - not afraid of going against the grain.  Let me clarify, I am not a rebel; but a person that loves peace.  I think we can all live together in harmony with eveyone not being afraid to be who they are.  Respecting everyone's ideas and aspirations. Some words of wisdom that I have gotten from others:
  • Stay Productive
  • Stay Busy
  • Help Others
When you stop producing, you began to die.  Dreams have not come to pass. Trouble is inevitable, but misery is optional.

Happy New Years 2015!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

. Blessings to All,  It has been a long time coming for this post. The last time I blogged was back in May 2014.  Fast forward to January 1, 2015.  I am very happy to see another year.  I am so glad that 2014 is in the past.  Today is a time to look forward to new opportunities.  On my agenda this year is to get better and wiser.  I am on the path of eliminating baggage out of my life. I am very much interested in the minimalist movement.  A minimalist voluntarily simplifies their life.  It can include buying less things, reducing consumption, working less, and even eliminating toxic things from your life.  I always admired the Japanese culture.  They practice minimalism; however some may argue that is due ...

Is Blogging Dead?

Hello To All. I have been missing in action from this blog since 2015.  I am the type of person that gets bored with things quite quickly.  I have a question for you today.  Is blogging dead?  There are millions of blogs out there covering everything from fashion, food, homes, wine, and etc.  With the fashion piece, Instagram has taken over the need to post a  blog about what a person is wearing and what the audience should buy. However, is it quite necessary to share with the world everything that a person does in their life. I am signing off with this open ended question; should you leave things to the  imagination?  Ponder on that question; will you. Until next time, many, many, many, blessings!

Dooney and Bourke Leather Janine Satchel

Good Evening All, This week has been rather hectic.  Dealing with family issues and job interviews at the same time.  All is good and the Creator is in charge.  I had purchased a Dooney and Bourke bag about two months ago to store my keys, ipod and identification when I workout at the gym. The bag wasn't a great choice and I end up exchanging the bag for a Dooney and Bourke Leather Janine Satchel in gray. At first I didn't really like the Janine Satchel because of the size.  I love big bags; however since I have lost over 20 pounds, big bags are starting to overwhelm my stature.  I wanted a gray bag because I wear a lot of gray outfits and have been unable to find the perfect gray bag.  There are many different shades of gray that tend to be a little taupe or have a bluish undertone.  This bag is more on the heather gray side with the beige vachetta accent. It is the perfect bag for the warmer months.  The leather reminds me of the Prada S...
